Talk to someone. Write a plan. Try something. Start the conversation you have been putting off. Even one inch forward counts.

Then sit with it. What worked? What did not? What did it teach you about yourselfReflection turns every experience into growth.

Your emotions, your triggers, your limits, your strengths. If you do not have a handle on those, managing a team, a classroom, or even a friendship becomes harder than it needs to be.

Next time a big emotion hits, pause and ask: what am I feeling, what am I thinking, and what can I actually do about it?

The difference between a decision you are proud of and one you regret usually comes down to whether you slowed down long enough to think it through.

The I Can Lead Book breaks it into four steps:
1. Define the problem. Know what you are really dealing with.
2. Identify your objectives. Know what you value and what you will not compromise.
3. List your alternatives. There is almost never only one way forward.
4. Consider the consequences. Will you still stand behind this decision later?

Smart decisions do not happen by accident. They happen because someone chose to lead themselves first.

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is one of the most recognized entry-level credentials in project management and the difference between passing and not comes down to five things:

— Take every practice exams / mock tests (not just a few)
— Set a real deadline! (not just a mental one)
— Immerse fully for 4 to 6 weeks of compressed prep
— Book your exam ahead. Don’t wait after finishing the course (this gives you something to look forward to!)
— Schedule, show up, and pass! (Yes, this part is non-negotiable!)

This June, we are helping young adults in Baltimore build the CAPM structure so they actually reach their certification goal just in one take!

If you work with young adults, 18-24 years old who are ready to enter the workforce with credentials that employers recognize, this is the kind of preparation that gets them there!

In partnership with Muslim Chaplain Services of Virginia, we are reaching 80 new Muslims at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women (FCCW) and we need your help to make sure every one of them has a hijab.

We are also serving 20 teenage girls in Maryland who need the same support.

One hijab for $7. One act of Sadaqah that reaches 100 women and girls. This is one of the simplest ways to give with lasting reward.
