You desperately need a tutor!"

Every single one of my classmates will ace tomorrow's test, even though they're currently binge-watching TV shows and aimlessly scrolling on their phones. They are not concerned about the mind-numbing effects of doomscrolling on their short-term memory. It's no bother to any of them.

Me on the other hand. I've kept myself so focused on school that I've probably missed the ten latest memes and trends. I'm so out of the loop that I don't know if I can keep a conversation with my fellow people. I've been up studying for days. One day I woke up with the print of Darwinism on my face, having once again fallen asleep during a study session. I don't enjoy physics or algebra or test prep in general, and still, I've tried harder than anyone else in my class. Yet tomorrow, they'll go home confident of writing an A-paper, while I will dread the certain D."No one is as dumb as you". "Have you considered giving up? It might be your best option".I might be exaggerating, but comments like that have been cast in my direction since I was too young to know I was insulted. I've tried giving up. To no surprise, I failed. I've tried my hardest. Still, I failed. I do learn, every day, just not what I'm supposed to."Just read the book and write about what you read!".

How do I do that? How do I read a book when my mind is drifting across galaxies and now and again acknowledge there are words on paper in front of me? How do I write about what I read, when the words are in Klingon and the subject is more boring than watching your grandfather trying to get up from his chair? How do I simply write, when my mind is thinking of a mistake I made four years ago, my ears are listening to the chewing across the room and my hand wants to tap rhythmically at the table? I taught myself how to skateboard in a week because I wanted to know how. I taught myself every lyric of Metallica because I wanted to sing along. I taught myself how to make other people laugh. I am capable. I'm not stupid. But my grades are horrendous." What is it that you don't understand? It's easy for everyone else. I've explained it to you a hundred times!"If this sounds familiar, we deeply apologize for the bad behaviors of others that you've had to deal with.

Learning should be fun and exciting. It should make you curious as a child and happy as a....well, child. Learning is not about being smart, it's about being patient and intrigued enough to seek knowledge. It all depends on two things; A student who wants to learn and a teacher who recognizes individual thinkers in a crowd of look-alike people. Not everyone is fit to be a teacher. Everyone is fit to be a learner.

**WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH 2 MONTHS LEFT UNTIL 2025? ***

1. Self-Evaluation and Planning to Complete Pending Goals for 2024🥇

- ✍🏻 Review and update your study, work, and vision board plans set at the beginning of the year to see if anything was missed and to check your completion percentage. List the positive achievements you’ve had in school or work, such as new skills learned, outstanding accomplishments, or even meaningful relationships.

- 🗓️ Break down unfinished goals, like learning a language or skill: If you’re studying English, Chinese, or Korean, try setting weekly goals like learning 20 new words, practicing speaking for 10 minutes a day, or completing a short course to track progress and boost motivation.

- Gradually organize your assignments and set up a clear plan to have a fun and stress-free New Year party!

2. Enhance Physical and Mental Health

- Create a light exercise plan: With Tet coming up, whether you want to lose or gain weight, exercising helps relieve stress and improve health. 🚵🏻

- Health challenge: Set goals to build positive habits like drinking enough water, getting adequate sleep, exercising for at least 15 minutes a day, and eating healthy.

3. Personal and Family Preparation

- The year is ending, so why not treat yourself and your family a little? Start planning for it. A new outfit or a small gift works fine!🎆

- Note down experiences you want for the next year 🔮, like taking a quick trip for New Year's or learning some craft skills.

- Review your savings and spending to see how you've managed finances this year, and start saving if there’s a special event at the end of the year.
