I become so saddened and fearful for both of my son's everytime in I watch the news.
I am a child of the 80's, which in my opinion was the greatest time to grow up (well the 60's looked pretty fun) My friends and I valued life and seriously detested Bullies....
I taught my children that if they stand by and watch another human being humiliated, beat up or stolen from, then they are just as guilty as the bully. I taught them that they would never be punished for fighting to protect someone weaker then they are. My youngest son was suspended at least 3 tines for intervening to protect another child.
Of course I investigated the circumstances of all 3 incidents and after speaking to witnesses and the bullied child, "I WAS SOOO PROUD OF MY TOMMY!"
My TOMMY even admitted to me that the bully was older, bigger and stronger then he was, He told me that he was so nervous and intimidated by the bully, but even if he didn't win the fight, that he felt so great about himself , because the bullied boy was so TERRIFIED everyday he came to school that he would hold his head down and didn't even attempt to make any friends.
My Tommy said "MOMMY, I WAS INTIMIDATED BY THAT OLDER BIGGER BOY BUT ALL I HAD TO DO WAS PICTURE HOW MUCH THE OTHER KID WAS SUFFERING AND I BEAT THE BULLY!
My Tommy. and his best friend offered to be his friend and walk him to and from school and sat with him at lunch EVERYDAY!
Okay, okay, I am getting to the point of this post....
The news is full of stories of murder (senseless at that. Look there have always been stories of murder, however in this day in age, EVIL IS RUNNING AMUCK and is causing CAOS over the world. Where you find demons, you'll FIND SENSELESS CAOS, FAMINE, MURDER, PERVERSIONS, ADULTERY, ADDICTION, R**E, CHILD MOLESTERS AND THE MOST
