🌎 Happy Earth Day from our middle school Woodhome Wildcats!! 🌱

This past week we celebrated Earth Day by distributing reusable water bottles and creating colorful Earth Day posters to spread awareness and inspire others to protect our planet.

Students also learned about the importance of reducing plastic waste and how small changes—like using reusable bottles instead of single-use plastics—can make a big difference for our environment.

We are proud of our students for taking part in helping create a cleaner, greener future! 💚♻️

Of course we had to celebrate our very own administrative professional, Secretary Goodwin!!! We love you and thank you for all you do 💙💛

Shoutout to all of our performers in grades 3–8 for bringing the energy at our MCAP Pep Rallies! 🎉🔥

You all showed up and showed out, and we know that same confidence and effort will carry over into your tests. We can’t wait to see everyone on time and ready on Monday to tackle MCAP—let’s go, Wildcats! 💙💛

Everything was amazing—from the engaging activities, to the student science fair, to the raffles and delicious food. Most importantly, it was a beautiful opportunity to come together as a community to support and celebrate our students and their learning.

💐 Woodhome’s Annual Women’s History Month Celebration was a success! 💐

Our girls showed up and showed out in their custom “Woodhome Girls Are Fierce” t-shirts — and they looked absolutely amazing! 💪🏾✨

The program was filled with talent, confidence, and creativity, featuring:
👗 A fabulous fashion show
🎤 Powerful poetry recitals
💃 Energetic dance performances
🎙 An inspiring message from special guest and radio host April Watts

It was a beautiful celebration of strength, voice, and excellence as we honored the impact and contributions of women—past, present, and future.

We are so proud of our scholars for shining bright and embracing what it truly means to be fierce! 💜💛
