Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Wednesday, October 2, and ends at sundown on Friday, October 4. It's a time of self-reflection and repentance, often called the "Day of Judgment," where G-d assesses the past year's actions and shapes the upcoming year's fate. The blowing of the shofar, symbolizing spiritual awakening, and special prayers and meals are key observance elements.

Wishing a meaningful Rosh Hashanah to our UBalt Jewish community and readers. May this season bring spiritual growth, forgiveness, and peace to all observers.
