Thank you so much to Flagship Cinemas (Eastpoint) for their generous donation of popcorn for our quarterly House Celebration!The purple house was rewarded with a popsicle and popcorn party for their attendance, achievement, perseverance, and behavior. Way to go, purple house! 💜💜💜

⏰ A reminder for our families: the last two days of school for students in grades K–5 are Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16 — both are half days, with dismissal at 12:45.

Every day matters, and attendance still counts, even on half days! Let’s finish the school year strong together. 🎉

We are so proud of our students who achieved the highest attendance rates for the entire school year — 98% or higher! 🌟

That means they missed only 3 days or less of school all year… WOW! 👏📚

As we wrap up the school year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous businesses, organizations, and individuals who donated prizes for our weekly Attendance Raffles. Because of your kindness, our students have been excited each Friday to watch the wheel spin and see who will be selected as our Primary and Intermediate winners! 🎡✨

Each week, students who attend school every day earn a spot on the wheel, encouraging positive attendance habits while adding a little extra fun and excitement to the school day. From scooters and outdoor toys to games and other awesome prizes, your donations have helped motivate our Roadrunners and celebrate their commitment to being in school and ready to learn. 🛴🏀

Thank you for investing in our students and helping make attendance a priority. Your support has brought countless smiles, created lasting memories, and helped reinforce the importance of showing up every day.

A huge shoutout to Ms. Cynthia from Maryland Department of Transportation for helping ensure our Roadrunners are ready for a safe and fun summer with brand-new, properly fitted bicycle helmets! 🎉

Did you know? Wearing a bicycle helmet reduces the risk of serious head injury by 85%. We encourage all students and families to make helmet use a habit every time they ride.

Maryland law requires all riders under the age of 16 to wear a helmet when riding on public property, including roadways, trails, and sidewalks.

We still have a few medium-sized helmets available for students. If you would like one for your child, please contact Ms. Berlinger at [email protected].
