Creativity was on full display as our 8th grade scholars put the finishing touches on their pottery projects! ๐จ๐บ
Through design, craftsmanship, and self-expression, students transformed simple pieces of clay into unique works of art that reflect their individuality and creativity.
A special shoutout to Mrs. Shum for inspiring our scholars to explore their artistic talents and helping many discover a passion they may not have realized they had. Thank you for creating a space where creativity can thrive!
Keep up the amazing work, Rockets! ๐โจ

Letโs give a huge shoutout to 8th graders, Johnny Blue, Tahj Taylor, and Cashmia Presco, for volunteering in our classroom Thursday and helping with the PAL Program! They went above and beyond by assisting students with their work, supporting the program, and helping clean up the classroom as well.
Your hard work, kindness, and willingness to help do not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate each of you for being such positive role models and team players!

Thereโs something powerful about watching learning leave the classroom and come to life in real time. ๐๐ฆ๐ฟ
On Monday, our 5th graders traveled to Sandy Point State Park to celebrate the culmination of their AquaPartners Program with the National Aquarium... and what a way to wrap up an incredible experience!
From exploring forest trails and catching fish to studying animal environments and ecosystems firsthand, students had the opportunity to experience science beyond a textbook. The excitement, curiosity, teamwork, and joy were unmatched.
Trips like this remind us that some of the best learning happens when students can touch it, see it, question it, and truly experience it for themselves. Not only did our Rockets deepen their understanding of science, but many also had the chance to explore a different part of Maryland and create memories theyโll carry with them long after elementary school. ๐๐
Experiences matter. Exposure matters. And giving students opportunities to connect classroom learning to the real world? Thatโs the kind of learning that sticks.
Attorney Gregory Jones,
On behalf of the 8th grade class of KJGA, thank you for taking the time to visit and speak with us today. Your willingness to share your experiences, knowledge, and advice made a meaningful impact on our scholars.
The students truly benefited from hearing about your journey, your career in law, and the importance of hard work, perseverance, and making positive choices for the future. Your words encouraged our students to think about their goals and the many opportunities available to them.
Thank you again for your time, support, and commitment to encouraging young people. We greatly appreciate your visit and hope to welcome you back again in the future.
