I know I’ve been a little MIA from this space, and there’s a reason for that. So happy to announce that we’re expecting a baby this fall! We’ve been on a journey the last few years and I knew this pregnancy deserved every ounce of extra energy and attention I could give it. It’s been the biggest blessing to be present, growing, and healing every step of the way. Don’t worry - I’m still coaching and you haven’t seen the last of me!

Standards…just as important as boundaries!

Holding yourself to standards feels like you stepping fully into who you are. 🪞

People hesitate to set standards because the prospect of holding yourself to them is scary. Also…”but what if I fail?!” 😩

In reality, claiming and honoring your standards feels super freeing, like coming home, because you’re stepping more fully into self-alignment. ⚖️

Burn-out is constant resistance to alignment, or what is true. Stop denying your standards!

When you ignore your standards, or refuse to honor them, you feel some of the lowest frequency emotions - shame, guilt, vulnerability, regret. No one has time for that. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Setting high standards helps you attract higher quality things into your life. Decisions are easier to make and negative things happen way less often.

🧩 The third (and arguably most intimidating) piece of the puzzle: consistency.

My clients struggle with this piece most of all, but we can fix that.

How it’s normally framed: Life is wildly inconsistent. Everything - our jobs, relationships, financially stability, interests…even our hormones - fluctuates. With each fluctuation there is an opportunity to not follow through on a habit or commitment that’s “important” to you. And if you drop the ball, you must not be __________ (committed, responsible, strong, successful, worthy, etc.).

🚫 WRONG.

It’s true that life throws us curve balls and there are plenty of external forces making it difficult for us to thrive, but it’s possible to remain aware, intentional, and consistent with the right tools. 🛠

You can create consistency in your life despite what’s happening around you. Learn who you are and what’s important, ground yourself in that, and choose it every day. You’ll be unshakable. 🏔

Here are some thoughts that serve me:

🏄🏻‍♀️ Life fluctuates and I adjust.

🧗🏻‍♀️ Obstacles are opportunities.

🤾🏻‍♀️ I was MADE for challenges.

🏋🏻‍♂️ Hard work isn’t scary.

🔋 I know how to store adequate reserve energy.

🛀🏻 I manage my resources well.

🧘🏻‍♀️ I participate in life with ease.

Controversial opinion: intention is useless without awareness. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You can waste a LOT of time, effort and energy on the wrong things if you’re not paying attention.

How did you get to where you are today? It’s usually a mixed bag - luck, decisions, planning, following, family influence, random offers, maybe a few risks. How intentional were you? How aware?

It’s true that you wouldn’t be who you are today if you hadn’t made all of the same moves. And we love who you are! But how do you want to approach the next 5, 10, or 20 years?

🧬 Being human means that we each have our own unique, magical blueprint. Our values, needs, interests, experiences, etc. cannot be duplicated. When we become more aware of who we are and how we live, strengthening our foundation and deepening our roots, our intentions become more aligned.

⚡️ We feel fulfilled. Life is richer. We’re energized. We’re not as overwhelmed by all the options because only certain ones make sense. A story for another day, but this is where concepts like “purpose”, “attraction,” and “flow” come from.

🔮 Take a few minutes to think about what got you to where you are now, starting around age 18. If asked to do so again in 20 years, what do you want to remember?

🪞Awareness is bigger than you think.

Simply becoming aware of your circumstances, thoughts, and feelings is enough to make change happen.

You don’t have to understand the “why” behind it. The “how things got to this point.” You just have to become aware of where you are. WHO you are. What you’re experiencing.

How many of you are guilty of living on autopilot? 🙋🏻‍♀️🛫

If you don’t feel ready to make a big change, simply notice. When you feel overwhelmed, name the emotion. Notice where you’re feeling it in your body. When you’re not being productive, notice what you’re thinking. What you’re feeling. What you’re filling your time with.

And when you’re ready to dive a little deeper, let’s work together to figure out what drives and fulfills you.

The million dollar question! 🙋🏻‍♀️💵

We’ve all been there - there’s something about your life that isn’t right. You’re unhappy. You hate your job. There’s no balance. You’re tired. Stuck. And you don’t know how to change it. You don’t know where you want to go or how the hell you’re going to get there.

I have some potentially life-changing news…the process is SIMPLE. It doesn’t have to be so hard.

Everything you need is within you. That’s the only place you’ll find the answers. But it gets loud in there. OF COURSE you need help.

Help becoming AWARE of who you really are in a world that tells you every day who you’re supposed to be.

Help living with INTENTION when you’re surrounded by doubt and distraction.

Help staying CONSISTENT when life ebbs and flows and you find so much fault in the present.

I’ve taken this journey. And I want to help as many of you as possible get to where you want to be. Let’s make it easy.

What’s the difference between a need and a boundary? Needs are about circumstances. Boundaries are about behaviors and how they affect you. You can set a boundary in regard to your own or someone else’s behavior by making a commitment or a request.

When your needs aren’t met, you feel a lack of focus and productivity. You feel like you can’t perform. You get distracted trying to fulfill the needs.

When boundaries aren’t upheld, you suffocate. You feel like there isn’t enough room for you to be yourself, let alone grow! Your light, who you are, is snuffed out.

Boundaries require awareness and courage.

1. Discover your needs and values so you know what boundaries to set.
2. Understand on a deep level that setting boundaries is a life-changing gift you can give yourself.
3. Set boundaries courageously, fueled by that understanding.

We’ve all heard these terms. But what do they REALLY mean?

✨ Introversion and extroversion are style PREFERENCES. They’re about how you prefer to interact with the world.

🔋 They’re based on where you get your ENERGY. Introverts are energized by time alone when they have quiet for concentration, time to reflect, and the ability to work without interruption. Extroverts are energized by time spent with others when they can be sociable and expressive, initiate and sustain interactions, and experience variety and action.

🧠 Introverts tend to focus more on the inner world of ideas and experiences.

👥 Extroverts tend to focus outwardly on the world of people and events.

⏳ It’s possible for your preference to change. You may see yourself differently than you used to. It’s also possible for other aspects of your personality or style to influence your extrovert or introvert tendencies. For example, I’m a highly sensitive person, which means that my nervous system loves peaceful alone-time. But I’m also an extrovert!

🌎 There is no right or wrong preference. The world needs both. The important thing it to know where your energy comes from and what depletes it so you can structure your life accordingly.

Why isn’t everyone fulfilled? Why aren’t we all simply living our values? Because we’re human! We’re on the receiving end of near constant input and influence, and it can be overwhelming. It’s common to feel like you’ve lost yourself and don’t know how to find your way back.

Your life doesn’t have to revolve around stressors - shoulds, woulds, needs, and have-tos.

“I just need __________”
“I should __________”
“I would, but I have to __________”
“I’m supposed to __________”
“It seems like everyone else __________”
“I wish I could __________”

Your values are within you. They never left. Sometimes you just have to chip away at what’s swallowing you up so the joy can make it’s way back to the surface.

Impact. Influence. Impression.
To make a mark. To leave a legacy.

This is a tricky one because...guess what? We ALL make an impact. If you exist, you can't leave this life the same way you found it. But some of us find immense joy in that responsibility. We naturally live with impact in mind. It's who we are.

You may value impact if you:

🪞 Identify personally with your work

☄️ Have always imagined doing something "big"

☮️ Believe wholeheartedly in a cause

🤲🏻 Feel an urge to share what you have to offer with others

🧭 Have a strong moral compass

🙋🏻‍♀️ Don't want to be forgotten

✨ Know there is a purpose to this life

Everyone should be mindful of their inevitable impact. But if impact is a value for you, pursue it. You're a world changer.
