Next, we’re excited to welcome Erica Zwart as our newest staff addition to Baltic Middle School.

Erica is beginning her 10th year in education and is especially excited to teach the subject she loves most - social studies!

We’re so glad to have Erica joining our school community. Help us give Erica a big Bulldog welcome!

Congratulations to the first “Golden Goose” winner. Mrs. Bowar was nominated for helping out some new staff members and making them feel welcomed. Congratulations!! She won a coffee warmer in her golden egg.

Students in 2nd grade did their first mini “transformation” of the year. Students explored the different genres in our classroom library and then discussed their favorites and dislikes from those. We practiced how to have group discussion and forming good oral sentences and how to be a good active listener when a partner is talking. They of course enjoyed some tasty snacks to taste during the book tasting.
