It may not be February just yet, but today we want to thank our amazing Stepping Stones teachers who love our children and pour their hearts and souls into them.
Our philosophy is that children learn and thrive best in an environment that is safe, nurturing, and loving — and our teachers prove that every single day through their dedication, patience, and care.

1 Corinthians 13:2 NIV
"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing".
Let God's love shine through us!

The year behind us has brought many challenges, and as Stepping Stones Childcare we have gone through many ups and downs — emerging only more resilient.
Seeing our children happy and smiling as they reach new milestones — first crawling, then standing and walking; hearing their first words; watching them notice and explore the world with curiosity and ask more complex questions; and learning how to handle big emotions and new experiences in more constructive ways — reminds me that, despite the hardships, witnessing their growth is truly a blessing and an honor.
We would like to wish each of you and your children God’s very best in the New Year.
May every day of 2026 be filled with His love, joy, and peace.

Last year — and especially the past couple of months — were challenging at Stepping Stones. But by God’s grace, we were able to celebrate Jesus’ birthday this year — the second time since our foundation.

One of the most amazing things for me was seeing that, compared to last year, we had twice as many spectators. Seeing parents, grandmas, and grandpas there was incredibly encouraging.

But what touched us the most was this: it truly felt like one big family. Yes, it was noisy — but it was filled with joy, love, and a genuinely positive spirit.

This year, the theme of our program was “This Little Light of Mine.” Life has tested our faith, our patience, and the way we treat others. It is often easy to say, “God, it is hard to love these people. It is hard to keep trusting Your plan. I give up.”

But then we remember Mother Teresa’s words: the way we treat others is not really about them, nor about how we respond to life’s hardships — it is about us, and whether we allow God to shine through us.

So moving forward, we choose to be the light in this world — to shine with kindness, grace, and love, even when it is difficult. ✨

Have a blessed week everyone!

We promise to share pictures and tell you more about our Christmas program, but not today.
After a busy night yesterday, we are having a Christmas pajama day, and one of our families kindly provided lunch for us.
I think this is one of the most special things about Stepping Stones — we’re not just like a big family, we truly are one 🫶

Have a warm and safe Friday, everyone!

Our children decorated our Thanksgiving tree with thankful leaves 🍂 — please take a moment to read their messages ✉️
For me, as a director whose family lives in a war-torn country, it was especially comforting to see that even at such a young age, our children already understand what truly matters — their mommies and daddies, their brothers and sisters.

To our Stepping Stones parents: thank you. Through all the ups and downs, you chose to stay with us, support us, make us feel special, and most importantly, trust us with the most precious gift 🎁 you have — your children. I am immensely grateful for your trust and support 🙏

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our teachers 👩‍🏫 and staff. Your care and love for the children never go unnoticed. May the Lord bless you with everything you need 😇

Wishing you all a warm, safe, and joyful Thanksgiving 🫶

Psalms 126:5-6
"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them".

Everyone knows that a teacher’s job is stressful, challenging, and requires lots of love and patience.
Nevertheless, when we as teachers see our kids loving one another and loving to pray, it makes our job truly rewarding.
So, if you don’t see the fruits of your hard labor today, keep planting those good seeds — in due time, you will reap with joy what you once sowed in tears.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

As parents and caregivers, we have the beautiful responsibility of showing children what love looks like in action. Our little ones are watching and learning from how we respond — with patience, kindness, forgiveness, and care.

This verse reminds us that love is more than just saying "I love you." It is choosing to act with compassion when a child is having a hard day, staying calm when we feel stressed, and creating an environment where every child feels safe and valued.

Today, let’s look for ways to model Christ-like love through our actions — because those little eyes and hearts are learning what love means by watching us.
