Holy Infant Alumni Alumni Page for all of the graduates of Holy Infant Catholic School in Ballwin, Mo In May of 1954, Rev. Robert J. Schwegel was notified by Most Reverend Joseph E.

Ritter, Archbishop of St. Louis, that he would become the first pastor of Holy Infant Parish. The Ellisville Athletic Building served as a temporary church, while a more permanent location was decided. In the spring of 1956, six acres on the east side of New Ballwin Road were selected. The construction of the church and school were underway and the next task was at hand. On September 4, 1956, Holy Infant School opened its doors with Mrs. Virginia Kunz as principal and a total lay faculty assisting her. There were 275 children in kindergarten through eighth grade. In 1957, the Sisters of Mercy of Drogheda, County Meath, Ireland, agreed to come to America to staff Holy Infant School. The founding sisters, Mary Xavier O'Donnell, Mary Berchmanns Digon, Mary Gerturde Duffy and Mary Bosco Doly settled at this small parish, that will soon thrive in the years to come.

We are incredibly grateful to the Holy Infant School Class of 1984 for their extraordinary generosity and support of our school! The Class of 1984 has purchased the Title Sponsor spot for the 2026 Holy Infant Golf Tournament, making a tremendous investment in the future of Holy Infant students.

A very special thank-you to David Naeger for bringing his fellow classmates together and inspiring them to give back to the school that helped shape their lives. What a beautiful way to honor their alma mater and the educational foundation that provided them with the faith, knowledge, and opportunities to build successful futures.

Your generosity is a wonderful reminder that once a Holy Infant student, always part of the Holy Infant family.
Proud Past. Strong Roots. Bright Future.

Thank you, Class of 1984, for helping ensure that future generations of Holy Infant students have the same opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive!

Now that it’s March, our Irish Dancing/MacNamara’s band program is in full swing. Our 6th grade performed today at Mercy Rehab. We were thrilled to have an alumni of Holy Infant in our audience and remembers learning to dance by Sr. Rosario and Sr. Bosco. She shared this photo from the West County paper that featured the dancers at the St. Pats Celebration. Such a cherished memory from her childhood.
