Monarch number two... this one's a male. How can you tell? When his wings are spread open there is one black dot on each side of the lower wings. Did not get a good picture of that but they were there. Females do not have the black dots. One more soon to hatch. Oh the wonders of creation!

From beginning to end we have our first Monarch hatching! Thank you Mrs. North for your addition for our daycare with these beautiful chrysalises and monarchs. We have named the first female Monarch "Autumn".
