💜8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony💛

8TH GRADE MOVING UP CEREMONY - Family Information

When - Thursday, June 25th at 9:00 am for family and friends to observe
Students must arrive at school at 7:30 am
Where - The Football Stadium
(If a location change is necessary due to weather, then a blast will be sent Wednesday)

Parking - Family and friends, we kindly ask that you DO NOT park in the bus loop or in the parking lot of the private apartment complex located next to the school on Garrett Road. There is parking available in the two parking lots adjacent to the football field, and in the High School front lot as well. Please be sure you plan for additional time to park and walk to the football field.

Seating, Student Attire and Certificates - Family and friends may sit in the stands, consider bringing a towel or blanket to combat the morning dew, or bring their own chairs for the concession area. Students will be in risers on the field. Students are asked to dress neatly for the occasion. Certificates will be given out to the students after the ceremony; which will be organized based on the students’ 8th grade ELA teachers.

Refreshments & Pictures following the ceremony - All 8th grade students will receive a coupon for a free Kona Ice. Families may purchase their own Kona Ice treat if they wish. Family and friends are welcome to take pictures with our balloon decorations to capture the memory. There will also be items available for purchase.
