Week 5 flew by, and it's hard to believe we're already wrapping up another week of summer!
Our Day campers at the BACC main site enjoyed another week of swim lessons, free swim, games, and activities with friends. A special shout-out to Room 2 for kicking off Thursday with a fun performance for fellow campers and staff!
In STEM, campers put their pizza box solar ovens to good use making s'mores, and they created colorful lava lamps to take home. In Art, they made landscape portraits and paper bag fish. Wednesday's visit from Reptile Adventures was a favorite, giving campers the chance to meet tortoises, snakes, a bearded dragon, and other scaly friends up close. The week wrapped up with a trip to Shepard Park in Lake George and a well-deserved stop at Martha's for ice cream!
Our Travel campers made the most of every adventure, even when the weather changed the plans again! A rainy Monday turned into a fun visit to the VIA Aquarium in Schenectady, followed by trips to Grafton Lakes State Park, Veterans Memorial Park, the Basketball Hall of Fame (where a few lucky campers met Spurs legend Bruce Bowen!), The Great Escape, and Million Dollar Beach.

Thank you to our campers, families, and dedicated staff for making another week of BACC Summer Programs so special! Prepare for another exciting week to come: Field Day Thursday followed by the Utica Zoo for Day Camp, and Howe Caverns + white water rafting for Travel Camp!
