Good morning families!

I have been contemplating the best way to communicate this announcement with you all, and I have decided to type from the heart.

Teachable Moments, LLC will officially be closing its doors on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. It deeply saddens me to make this decision official, but please know it was not an easy decision by any means. It is the right decision for myself, and my family, at this time.

Four years ago I resigned from my 15 year classroom teacher position and opened Teachable Moments, LLC in November 2022. My dream was to help local families and their children with academics. Since opening, Teachable Moments has helped over 80 children in reading, writing and/or math. I have also had the amazing opportunity to work with a local Homeschool Co-Op for the past 2 years with children in grades K-4.

I want to thank the teachers who came on board at Teachable Moments to teach as well: Eric Robinson, Brittany Todeschini, Lisa O'Neill, Tirzah Jackson and Stefan Kowalski. No matter how much time they spent at Teachable Moments, their presense was truly appreciated.

I have been blessed over the past 3.5 years to have a small business that I love and believe in. I will miss working with the kids and helping to increase their confidence. Thank you for supporting Teachable Moments and for letting me be a part of their educational journey.

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Teachable Moments, LLC to provide Math Tutoring in Baldwinsville!

Teachable Moments, LLC will also be providing Elementary Math and Reading Tutoring in our Cazenovia location!

We are currently on the search for tutors to fill these positions.
