⭐️ No Place for Hate – Gold Star Achievement ⭐️
We are proud to share that our school has earned the No Place for Hate Gold Star, a recognition made possible through student-led efforts rooted in inclusion, respect, and belonging.

Our deepest appreciation goes to our student leaders from Student Council, Future Problem Solvers, Character Counts, Student Patrol and Girl Scout Troop 2210 whose voices, vision, and commitment drove this work forward. We are also grateful to our PTA, especially Sophea Sainsurin and Helen Singson, for co-coordinating and supporting this student-led initiative, as well as to the advisors Ms. Simal, Mrs. Sandorfi, Ms Das, Ms Naggar and Mrs Temple who guided the process and Dr. Martin and AP Rashwan for their ongoing support.

This achievement reflects the power of students leading change with a strong community behind them. Together, we continue to build a school where everyone belongs. 💙 💛

Earlier this week at our Installation and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, we celebrated those who give so generously of their time and hearts—thanking our outgoing officers, welcoming our incoming leaders, and recognizing the volunteers who make our PTA so special. Every Child Is a Masterpiece, and together, each act of kindness, service, and leadership adds another brushstroke to the beautiful community we’re creating for our children.

This year’s Meadow PTA Community MVP Awards were proudly presented to the Baldwin Fire Department and Girl Scout Troop 2210, in recognition of their meaningful contributions to our success and their continued partnership in strengthening our school community.

Recently, Meadow students engaged in meaningful conversations about standing up against hate and bullying. As a School of Excellence and a No Place for Hate school, students reflected on how respect, kindness, and inclusion show up in their everyday actions. To celebrate this commitment, students received items from the 🟦 Blue Square Alliance—proudly wearing and sharing them as symbols that Meadow is a place where everyone belongs.Families are encouraged to continue these conversations at home. Together, we are building a strong, supportive, and inclusive school community.

Thank you to Future Problem Solvers and Student Council for modeling leadership and helping spread these important messages. More classes will continue these conversations in the weeks ahead!

Congratulations to our all of outstanding Meadow teachers who were awarded tenure at last night’s Board of Education meeting. This milestone is a powerful reflection of your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to our students and school community. A special congratulations to our Principal Dr. Martin and Assistant Principal Rashwan—true partners in the work we do through the PTA. We are deeply grateful for your collaboration, leadership, and continued support, which strengthen our shared mission every day.

A sweet collaboration to close out our final PTA meeting of the year! 💙 We reflected on the year in review and celebrated the growth of our community through belonging and connection. Faculty joined us to share valuable resources for families heading into summer, including ways to help prevent the summer slide. And the icing on the cake? Families decorated cakes—and enjoyed every bite! 🎂✨ A strong finish to a great year. Thank you !

What a night! What a night! It was definitely going down at the Nassau Region Spring Conference last night at the Hilton Long Island—and that’s what happens when you PTA with Purpose all year long. Mission‑driven, student‑centered, and committed to advocacy, engagement, and impact for every child.
