The Baldwin Education Foundation is a non-profit that supports the schools of the USD 348 - Baldwin City. Our MISSION – to support the students, faculty and staff of USD 348 and help them achieve excellence.

THANKFUL THURSDAY 🇺🇸
As we approach tomorrow’s 25th anniversary of 9/11, our hearts are filled with gratitude for those who choose a life of service.

BEF is especially thankful for our 💜 Baldwin alumni, community members, and supporters who dedicate themselves to serving and protecting others — in the military, law enforcement, fire service, as first responders, medical and mental health professionals, and in so many other helping fields.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the courage of those who ran toward danger to help. Today, we honor all who continue that legacy of service — even when the cost is great, and even when the lives you touch may never fully know how much you have given.

Thank you.

You are truly appreciated, and we are grateful for the lives of service you lead.💜🇺🇸

BEF Staff Appreciation Post! TGIF WITH BEF!

A huge part of BEF’s work is pouring into USD 348 staff so they can pour into their students! 💜Two great examples are BEF’s sponsorship of the Kansas Teacher of the Year program and the incentives offered through our Employee Giving Program!

🍎 Kansas Teacher of the Year
Joey the BEF Bulldog visited the Intermediate Center and Junior High today to help present new BEF T-shirts to our Elementary Kansas Teacher of the Year, CYNTHIA ANDREWS and Secondary Kansas Teacher of the Year, CHAD SCOBY!

The new official BEF shirts by Baldwin City Made feature the slogan “When one of us wins, we all BaldWIN.” It’s the perfect way to celebrate the idea that when one of our staff members is recognized for excellence, it’s a win for education across the entire district!

⭐️Employee Giving Program
All staff members participating in the Employee Giving Program for the 2026–27 school year were automatically entered into a drawing for an incredible game-day package, generously gifted to BEF by Universal Construction Company!

This event has generated thousands of dollars impacting various organizations throughout both Franklin and Douglas counties—and BEF is one of the many organizations benefiting from this amazing generosity.
