💙🐾 ONE CAMPUS. ONE COMMUNITY. ALL BULLDOGS. 🐾💙

There’s something pretty special about being a small school district where our students, Pre-K through 12th grade, share one campus. Days like today remind us just how special it is!

We started the morning with our Bulldog football players greeting our elementary students as they arrived by bus and car. Smiles, high fives, and plenty of Bulldog spirit!

Later, our entire district came together for a Bulldog Walkthrough, celebrating all of our Fall season athletes and activities as our younger Bulldogs cheered on the big kids they look up to.

We finished the day with a district-wide pep rally, celebrating our Bulldogs and announcing our 2026 Homecoming Court!

Our littlest Bulldogs cheering for our biggest Bulldogs. One campus supporting one another. One community. All Bulldogs.

Now it’s GAME TIME! 🏈 We can’t wait to fill the stands tonight and cheer on our Bulldogs right here on our home field!

School Bus Sealed Bid Sale

The Bald K**b School District is putting an old school bus up for sale through sealed bids.

The bus was involved in a wreck and has been stripped of just about everything, making it available as a salvage/parts vehicle.

Sealed Bid Information
Bids accepted until: August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Where to submit bids: Bald K**b School District Administration Office
Submit bids to: Mrs. Sherry Koon
Bid opening: August 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Notification: The high bidder will be contacted following the bid opening.

Each Sealed Bid Must Include
Amount of the bid
Full name of the person submitting the bid
Phone number of the person submitting the bid

Scope of Work and Removal Requirements
The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs, labor, equipment, transportation, and other services necessary to safely and completely remove the bus from the Bald K**b School District campus.
The successful bidder shall coordinate with the District's Director of Transportation regarding access to the campus during the removal process.
The successful bidder shall render payment to the District by September 20, 2026, and shall remove the bus from the District campus no later than October 31, 2026.
Failure to completely remove the bus by the October 31, 2026, deadline will result in the winning bid being negated. In such an event, the Bald K**b School District will retain 25% of the awarded bid amount as liquidated damages. The remaining 75% will be handled in accordance with the terms established by the District and the successful bidder.
Any request to extend the October 31, 2026, removal deadline must be submitted to and approved in writing by the Bald K**b School District before the deadline.

District Rights
The Bald K**b School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process when doing so is in the best interest of the District.
The District intends to award the sale to the highest bidder, taking into account the bidder's ability to meet the required removal timeline.

Bald K**b Schools Athletic Hall of Honor Committee – Volunteers Needed

Bald K**b School District is seeking two community volunteers to serve on the Bald K**b Schools Athletic Hall of Honor Committee.

We are specifically looking for:
One Bald K**b alumnus/alumna who graduated in 1985 or earlier
One Bald K**b alumnus/alumna who graduated between 2006 and 2021

The Bald K**b Schools Athletic Hall of Honor was established to formally recognize and preserve the legacy of the outstanding athletes, coaches, and supporters who have made a lasting impact on our athletic programs. The Hall of Honor celebrates excellence, recognizes individuals who have positively influenced our school and community, and provides role models who inspire today's student-athletes. Honorees are permanently recognized with plaques displayed in the Bald K**b High School gymnasium, ensuring their contributions are remembered and celebrated for generations to come.

Committee members meet 2–3 times each year. One meeting is held to review nominations and select new Hall of Honor inductees, while one or two additional meetings are dedicated to planning the annual Hall of Honor induction ceremony.

If you are interested in being considered for one of these committee positions, please send an email to [email protected]. Please include your name, phone number, graduation year, and a brief explanation of why you would like to serve on the committee. We will contact you towards the end of August with more information.

We appreciate your willingness to help preserve and celebrate the rich athletic tradition of Bald K**b Schools!
