Southwest Community Nursery School (SCNS) is a parent participation nursery school offering one, two, three, and four day programs for children 2 to 6 years of age. We are located at 327 “A” Street, in Bakersfield, California and have an adult-to-child ratio of one adult for every 4 children. The children are always well supervised by a loving parent, director or teacher. Attending SNCS will allow your child to explore many new and exciting things. Your child will “learn through play” and will develop skills necessary for later academic achievement while having fun. Each day includes two art projects, music time, story time, a snack and many choices for play and learning activities. Being toilet trained is not a requirement for enrollment. We are leaving that important skill achievable when parents and their children are ready to do so.
