On Target Firearms Training

A number of rifle/handgun combinations exit in today's high tech fi****ms market. These packages can run from traditional older models to the latest cutting edge tools for self defense. These combinations allow flexibility while requiring the shooter to only provide one ammo caliber.

One such package in the Kriss Carbine in .45 acp that uses the same magazines as a G***k Model 21. This combo package can be expanded by adding a micro G***k Model 30 or the Kriss Vector pistol. The package is a powerful and effective defensive system that allows the user to choose from a rather small number of fi****ms to cover several roles.

From full time carry to home defense, a shooter can be well prepared by matching the right tool to the task at hand. Combinations like this can be assembled in a number of calibers such as 9 mm, .40 Smith / Wesson, and .45 acp.

A good combo setup can save a shooter money and provide for more flexibility in covering a number of defensive roles. A .357 magnum carbine and revolver can provide superior fire power for defense or hunting at closer ranges. Some .357 mag ammo can approximate 30-30 ballistics out to a hundred yards out of a 16" - 20" barrel. The same ammo can provide good defense again predators whether they have to legs or four. When packing or horsebacking, only carrying one caliber of ammo cuts down on weight and allows space for other gear or supplies. Combinations like this were quite popular in the 1800s and are still quite useful today.
