60+ Club health seminar today included information on the Blue Zones Project Bakersfield, the CSUB Nursing Gerontology endowed chair, and breath work, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and hand exercises with Gwen Mitchell.

Worked in the CSUB Walter Stiern Memorial Rose Garden yesterday and today deadheading and weeding. I only work an hour a day and it takes about 5 hours to get the whole garden done. Had help today. Visiting is a perk.

Visited the Gordon Callison Memorial Garden yesterday morning. Pulled some weeds, picked up some leaves and pine needles and enjoyed some wildlife in the area.
