Differently Able doesn’t mean we are different from other humans. y vivir lo más normal posible.

It just means we are capable of doing things in our own unique way, despite all the challenges we face. Differently Able is a community that will try to Encourage people with different disabilities, parents, friends, and the world that people with different disabilities can have a very productive life regardless of what type of disability we have. Encourage each other by sharing our own experience

s and stories that we go throughout our lives

Most of us were raised by overprotective loving parents that feared the unknown, meaning they did not know how to treat or raise us. So, they overprotected us without knowing they were raising unarm children to face a cruel world as adults. Therefore, it is particularly important for parents and caregivers to educate themselves about their children’s disabilities and challenges and armed them with the right education and tools to be productive and independent in the real world of (normal people) without being afraid to face life as adults and live normal as possible. But really “what is Normal?”

As people with different disabilities, the most important thing is that

We have feelings

We can have a family

We can have careers

We can be friends or enemies

We are able to take care of ourselves and others

Our disabilities are Not Contagious

The only Contagious we have is our smiles, love, and laughter

Capacitados different (Differently Able) es una comunidad que intentará alentar a las personas con diferentes discapacidades, padres, amigos y el mundo a que las personas con diferentes discapacidades puedan tener una vida muy productiva independientemente del tipo de discapacidad que tengamos. Animarnos unos a otros compartiendo nuestras propias experiencias e historias que recorremos a lo largo de nuestras vidas. La mayoría de nosotros fuimos criados por padres amorosos sobreprotectores que temían lo desconocido, lo que significa que no sabían cómo tratarnos o criarnos. Entonces, nos sobreprotegieron sin saber que estaban criando niños desarmados para enfrentar un mundo cruel como adultos. Por lo tanto, es particularmente importante que los padres y cuidadores se eduquen sobre las discapacidades y desafíos de sus hijos y los armen con la educación y las herramientas adecuadas para ser productivos e independientes en el mundo real de (personas normales) sin tener miedo de enfrentar la vida como adultos. My passion is to try to educate Society about people with disabilities because Society does not accept us as part of their Society. After all, we do not fit into the norm of what is normal to them. Who or what is normal in this world? I sure do not want the younger Generations of people with disabilities to go through what I have been and will go through till I graduate from the University of Life. I strongly believe that people can change by educating them about people with disabilities and that we have feelings, souls, hearts, and blood running through our bodies and not just about the Laws that protect us and that we can live a normal life just like anyone else without a disability.

Finally, a film that sheds light on these real-life struggles with individuals who have cerebral Palsy/different disabilities at a young age, I’m glad that it will allow the public, parents, and children to see our different disabilities world is not much different from the so-called “normal world” Hopefully this movie will teach everyone to show a little bit of respect for individuals who have cerebral Palsy/different disabilities at a young age. Every human being is unique and has a unique ability and disability.

Out of My Mind Melody, while navigating sixth grade with cerebral palsy, shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.
