Program Overview
The purpose of the Whitchard Choir Academy is to provide a fun and engaging vocal music program that provides performance opportunities to young people in Kern County who have a passion for singing .
It is the mission of the Whitchard Choir Academy to support, strengthen, enhance, and assist to create a positive and enriching vocal music experience that will positively impact the youth of our community for years to come. The Whitchard Choir Academy (WCA) will provide life-changing educational support, and performance opportunities throughout Kern County. Our dream is that this company will grow and allow us to keep vocal music alive throughout our city, & county.
It is our duty to provide our youth with an outlet through music. Young people in our communities need a way to communicate and express them selves and can do so with a musical outlet. Music allows people to feel less alone. Choral music and choir membership allows a person to feel a part of a family. The WCA will provide the youth of Kern County an outlet and a family.
