This 10 hour (5 hrs ground, 5 hours flight) course provides the certificated pilot with the knowledge and skills necessary for operating into and out of high-altitude airports and for operations in mountainous terrain. Emphasis on safe route planning, mountain weather, high den-alt operations, and survival in harsh climates. Pinch-Hitter Course. Created for the non-certificated frequent passenger, this course teaches the basics of what to do if the pilot can no longer function. 6 hour course (3 hours ground, 3 hours flight) is packed with only the need-to-know info and skills that will enable the non-pilot to find the help they need and get the airplane back on the ground safely. Ordered a small regular coffee at the corner roasting co. this morning, no frills. $3.15. Last time I ordered it was around two bucks. Glad I’m not much of a coffee drinker.

Our home schooled son is a biology teacher at a public high school. His experience with home schooling allows him to bring a different perspective to his classroom, more discovery oriented, a little less regimented. Many of his friends have pursued professional careers. There is so much misinformation about home schooling. It’s not what many think it is.
