Thoughts and prayers out to his family. May he rest in peace.

We are saddened to announce the recent passing of KCSOS employee, Matthew Noack, who was a dedicated Field Trip Scheduler in the Transportation program. Our hearts go out to Matthew’s family, friends, and those who worked closely with him.

Matthew began his career with our Office as a substitute Transportation Aide in October, 2013, but what we quickly learned about Matthew is he always had his eye on the next step in his career. After subbing as a Transportation Aide, he was hired permanently into that position in August, 2016 but had also worked to secure his license as a School Bus Driver and jumped in to that role many times as needed. In fact, in the 2016-2017 school year Matthew served as the temporary school bus driver for Camp KEEP, commuting to the Camp on Mondays, returning home on Fridays!

After promoting into a permanent School Bus Driver position in January, 2020, Matthew set his sights on his next goal, securing a position in the Transportation office as a Field Trip Scheduler, which he accomplished in September, 2021. We have no doubt that before his untimely passing, he was already setting his next career goal.

He was always interested in knowing everything about a new position or assignment and passionate about mastering it. He was thoughtful, helpful, willing, and ready to take on each day, always wanting to make others proud.

We celebrate Matthew’s life and extend our condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers. He will be missed.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO BUY TICKETS!! MONDAY JULY 25th!!!
We have to give our final food count Tuesday so we will be closing ticket sales on Monday the 25th. We MAY offer a door ticket at a lower price, but food won’t be included. This would happen mainly to cover more of the event cost, since we haven’t met our anticipated total.

I know we have a big community of people and a lot of connections out there.
