Our Tejon Princess, Robbi Gonzales, spent the day giving back! She joined the Kern County Library and Kern County Animal Services for Tales for Tails, where kids build reading skills by reading aloud to shelter dogs. 🐶🐾 Robbi was proud to spend the day supporting local families and the shelter animals. 💫

Cultural belongings have found their way home. 🧺👏

Pictured is Tejon Tribal Historic Preservation Officer, Curtis Alcantar and Tübatulabal Chairman Robert Gomez. The Tejon Indian Tribe was proud to consult on Tubatulabal’s behalf to repatriate and bring the baskets home.

The Tejon Indian Tribe is thrilled to see SB 1305 continuing to move forward in the California Legislature! This historic bill charts a path toward bringing grizzly bears back to California, and it ensures tribal voices are part of that process every step of the way.

Few symbols carry as much weight for our state as the grizzly bear on our flag. Supporting legislation this significant, one rooted in restoring what was lost and doing right by the land, is exactly the kind of work we stand behind.🐻⭐️

Today we say thank you and farewell to Philip Lozano, who is concluding 5½ years of service with our Indian Health Service department.

Philip has been a steady and dedicated presence in our community, and his work has touched the lives of so many of our members. While his time on staff comes to a close, we are grateful that this is not goodbye as Philip will continue to serve Tejon as an elected member of our Tribal Council.

Please join us in thanking Philip for his years of service and wishing him well as he begins his next chapter!🎉
