Yesterday marked a milestone for our region with the grand opening of the Tejon Public Safety Center. It is home to the Kern County Sheriff Tejon Substation and Fire Station #54. The foresight of Tejon Indian Tribe in bringing this vision to life speaks to the kind of community-first thinking that makes Kern County special.
Thank you to Sheriff Donny Youngblood and Fire Chief Aaron Duncan for your partnership and dedication. Hard Rock Casino Tejon remains committed to creating a safe, welcoming experience for our guests, team members, and the community.

From the Capitol in Sacramento to home in Kern County, Tejon showed up for MMIP Awareness Week.
At the Capitol, Vice Chair June Nachor spoke before the Select Committee on Native American Affairs, with Council Secretary Lisa Bradley and Ofelia Flores of TCAP in attendance.
Back home they participated in the planning and ex*****on of events at CSUB, alongside students and staff. We’re proud of our leaders commitment to advocacy and justice.
