💰Check out our coin totals! 💰 We had some very full buckets today — all the way to the top. Sorting all these coins and making deposits is a whole process, even with a coin counting machine. Thank you to Ivette, Lena, Crystal, Maria, Shelly and Erin for volunteering several hours to count money and make Penny Wars possible!

TK/K had 8 dollar coins today for 8,000 points to add to their score and putting them on top. Third grade had 7 dollar coins, but 502 quarters were dropped in their bucket today, bringing their point total down. 6th grade is currently in second place!

Remember dollar coins are special point earners at 1000 points each! Quarters are negative -25 points each.

We had a coin from the Czech Republic, a coin from Canada, and a coin from the British Virgin Islands!

Thank you everyone for making this so fun!!! Friday we will see which grade level is the winner and in second place. Thank you coin counters and sign holders, and big thanks to Mrs. Phillips for her help!!!

Penny wars update! ⭐️3rd grade is in the lead ⭐️4th and 5th were overrun with quarters and currently have negative totals! Check out our coin totals so far, over 1,000 pennies! We also had a few things that the bank will not accept: tokens, Mexican pesos, Chinese yuan, and a pressed penny!! Remember dollar coins are worth 1,000 points 💰💰💰. Big thank you to our volunteer sign holders and money counters.

⭐️💰 PENNY WARS IS COMING TO LAURELGLEN💰⭐️

START COLLECTING YOUR SPARE CHANGE! 💰 This is a parent club fundraiser, all funds raised will benefit our school and students.

Get ready to battle it out September 23–25 as Laurelglen students compete to see which grade level can earn the most points! 🏆1st place grade level gets pajama day and a popcorn party. 2nd place grade level gets a popcorn party.

Start searching those couch cushions, piggy banks, cars, and junk drawers… because EVERY COIN COUNTS! 👀💰The fun twist is that quarters are NEGATIVE!
