It's with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Art tutor, Mr. Bob Ross
Mr. Ross brought a sweetness to our HERC community and so much color for more than 10 years. He quite literally left his mark not only in his Art classroom but in the hearts of all of his students and our team of tutors and administrators. It was quite a special (and funny little joke) to be able to share that BOB ROSS was HERC's Art tutor! He was a fixture in the local Art community and had such a passion to teach about his craft. On many days he would take his classes outdoors to paint clouds, draw trees and birds and just seek to encourage them to be inspired by the glorious world that our Creator gave us to behold. He spoke so often of his beloved family who we are sure will be missing him greatly.
We enjoyed his kind and gentle manner, his humor and his tender care for his students and most of all his unwavering trust in the Lord. He will be so greatly missed by us all at HERC but we are REJOICING that he is now in Glory and his faith has been made sight!
Former and current students are invited to attend HERC's showcase this Thursday May 21st from 1-3 pm where we will have a time at the end for sharing memories about Mr Ross and the opportunity to sign cards that will be sent to his family.
