Golden Empire Messengers

Last night six of our members did a church visit at Keepers of the Cross in Bakersfield. It is a ministry that focuses helping women turn their lives around and become strong women of God. The band was amazing and the message was one of encouragement, showing that God can do wonderful things in people who have hit rock bottom. We got to speak with the director who explained what all the ministry does, and to hear all about the lives of those who have been changed with their assistance and God’s hand and love. What an awesome God we have.

Monday August 3rd-Monthly meeting-Denny’s Rosedale Highway-5:30 dinner and 6:30 meeting

Friday August 7th-Dream Center Benefit Ride preparation meeting. 5:30 at Denny's Rosedale.

Saturday August 8th-Service for Keepers of the Cross-Meet at John Pace's house at 5:30 pm, we will ride over together.

Saturday August 15th-Social ride-TBD-Possible ride to Taft.

Sunday August 23rd-Fellowship ride-TBD

Our group attended the Kern County Christian Bikers Fellowship breakfast this morning. It was a great morning of fellowship, music and food with others who love the lord as much as we do😊

Reminder-fellowship event this Saturday will be the biker breakfast at 9am. Hope to see you all there.

A nice turnout from our group to support the Salvation Army fill the pantry ride. Two of of members won prizes.

Our CMA fellowship ride for July is Saturday, 7/11. It is a Poker Run to 'Fill The Pantry' for the Salvation Army, Sponsored by The Bakersfield Toy Run. We will meet at Kern Country Power Sports, 3917 Buck Owens Blvd. at 7:45 am, KSU at 8 am. Please bring some non-perishable food items if you can. More info on the poster. The Northern California state rally is also coming, July 31st-August 2nd, in Angels Camp. The attached link has all the information and you can use the link to register for the event. It's a weekend full of events, meeting CMA members from other chapters, and sharing the love of God.
