Bakersfield Elementary Middle School We are a small pre K - 8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont. Bakersfield Elementary Middle School is a pre K-8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont.

We are a PBIS school and our three school wide expectations are Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Ready to Learn. Our pre school program serves 3 year old children and families two sessions weekly, and 4 year old children and families three sessions weekly. Our Kindergarten through grade 5 program is organized with a self-contained class at each level. Grades 6-8 operate as a middle school. We curre

ntly enroll 155 students. We have 18 teachers, 7 para educators and 5 support staff. Our school is governed and guided by a 5 member board of school directors. Our school district is a member district of the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union.

As we wrap up our FNESU Meal Kits this week, we wanted to thank everyone who made this program so successful this summer. Between our two sites, we have handed out 4,566 boxes to families so far and we still have this week remaining!

Special shout-out to Dawn and Shane Reed, our FNESU Food Service Staff, and anyone else who assisted for all of their hard work throughout the summer. Our families appreciate you so much!

Here is our final menu, be sure to stop by and grab a box for your child(ren) 18 and younger. All boxes are first come, first served!
