This includes coordination of activities and events as well as connecting alumni through the use of technology.

What started as an idea in the fall of 2017 has turned into a children's book, "Silly, Icky Clay in the Potter's Hands" authored by a member and youth leader of the Fresno Spanish SDA Church.
Sarai Mendoza, a graduate of Bakersfield Adventist Academy and Pacific Union College, has been a teacher for the past 5 years in Fresno, California. Her passion for teaching and counseling fused together into a project designed to help kids have the assurance that God loves them unconditionally regardless of how people may hurt them or if they make mistakes—and that He has incredible plans for their lives.
"As soon as I told my pastor about the book project, he was willing to have it on the church social media page and I have received a lot of encouraging messages from church members and the leadership team I work with," Mendoza shared. "I am so glad I can provide a Spanish version for the Hispanic community!"

Dear BAA Alumni,
As you are surely aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on many people. Along with concerns of potential illness, many are dealing with economic hardship as well. Unfortunately, some of our families at BAA are dealing with these issues while trying to afford tuition and fees for their children. Even with financial help from the church and school, some just can’t cover the costs. We need your help. Specifically, there is a need for at least $5300 to ensure a few children are able to continue their education at BAA. If you are able to help them during this unique time of need, it would make a huge difference. Please consider calling the school with a contribution. I’m sure any amount would help.
