Our Story

Thank you for checking out my privately owned preschool and childcare facility.

Jen's Family Daycare & Preschool offers an abundance of stimulating activities for our enrolled children. We have a creative and fun play room in our beautiful 2600 sq foot home as well as a fantastic outdoor park like playground. We offer Summer swim fun, a huge vegetable garden where we grow and cultivate our very own fruits and vegetables. Chicken’s to gather fresh farm eggs, two Boston terror pups for mans best friend and our ever loving (hammy) our sweet little mini pig!


Open:
Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00pm

We are currently enrolling for part time and full time positions.

Preschool hours are: Mon-Fri 7:20am to 12pm only Childcare is offered: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm

Credentialed:
USDA Food Certified, CPR & First Aid, Preventative Health & Safety Certified
Licensed Large Childcare Facility, Background FBI & DOJ Clearance
Immunized from MMR, Whooping Cough & Flu shot
CHDV Units, 20 yrs experienced working with children in public school as well as in home licensed childcare settings, & Preschool teacher Certified.

Hello, My name is Jen Harris, and I Have had the pleasure of running my in home daycare business for over 20yrs. I was first licensed in 1998 and closed in 2012 after the adoption of our 2nd daughter Kaelynn. I went on hiatus to raise a newborn and take some time off to be with her. With 2.5 years off work I felt a void in my professional life and I went back to work in a private preschool setting anxious to begin teaching again. A couple years later when my daughter turned 5 yrs old and was starting kindergarten I felt the need to be home with her, and set forth in motion to reopen my inhome daycare facility once again.
