Learning beyond the classroom 🌱

Our Ag Business Pathway students spent the day with Grimmway Produce Group, getting a firsthand look at one of our region’s leading agricultural operations.

From time in the fields to learning how food moves from production to consumers, students explored the people, processes, and career opportunities that keep our local agriculture industry moving.

Thank you to Grimmway Produce Group for investing in our students and giving them a closer look at an industry that plays such an important role in our community! 💙💛

SEE YOU AT THE POLE 2026 🙏

Yesterday, our students joined thousands of students across the country for See You at the Pole, an annual student-led gathering centered on prayer.

Our students gathered around the flagpole for a time of worship and prayer, lifting up our school, our community, our nation, and one another.

What a gift to see our students come together and boldly live out their faith. 💙💛

LAUNCH is officially underway!

Our BCHS Medical Pathway students kicked off their first Tier 1 LAUNCH meeting in partnership with Adventist Health, getting an inside look at careers in healthcare and the many paths available to them.

This first experience introduced students to two healthcare professionals, a clinical dietitian and a physical therapist, giving them the opportunity to learn firsthand about their roles, ask questions and explore what a future in healthcare could look like.

This is what LAUNCH is all about: connecting students with real professionals, real careers and real-world experiences as they begin thinking about what comes next.

We are grateful for our partnership with Adventist Health and their investment in the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Nearly 1,000 miles traveled on the East Coast. Countless steps. Eight universities. Four states. One unforgettable Fall College Tour.

Our Eagles covered some serious ground!

After flying from Bakersfield to the East Coast, students hit the road, visiting the University of South Carolina, Clemson University, the University of Tennessee, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, Liberty University, the University of Virginia and Georgetown University.

At BCHS, college preparation goes beyond researching schools online. Our students get to step onto campuses, experience college life firsthand, ask questions and begin to picture where God may be leading them next.

Along the way, students spent September 11 in Washington, D.C., visiting the Pentagon Memorial and U.S. Capitol. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history, sacrifice and resilience.

Eight universities, four states and a whole lot of possibilities ahead.

We’re grateful for the faculty and staff who poured so much into making this experience possible for our students.

Made for More. 💙🦅

🇺🇸 Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to serve others. And we remain grateful for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities each day.

Twenty-five years later, we pause as a BCHS community to remember, to pray, and to give thanks.

May we never forget the sacrifice, courage, and unity of that day, and may we continue to pray for our nation and those who serve it.

We remember. We honor. We pray. 🇺🇸

Club Rush at BCHS! 🦅

Our students had the chance to explore all the ways they can get involved, meet new people, discover new interests and find a place to belong on campus.

From service and leadership to creativity, academics and just-for-fun clubs, there’s something for everyone at BCHS.

We loved seeing our campus full of energy and our students excited to jump in and get connected. Here’s to a great year of getting involved, trying something new and making the most of the BCHS experience!
