Beardsley School Community Foundation

This is definitely one of those moments when thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough! But a huge thank you to my Carnival Crew, this event once again was a tremendous success because of you all.

Thank you to the families of the Beardsley School District and your continued support of the foundation and our community event.

Walking through the crowds last night I saw lots of families having a great time enjoying the games, food, petting zoo and kids climbing on the Fire Truck. Special thanks to KCFD and the support of the Explorer program.

The Beardsley 5 entertained us with some great live music. You guys all looked like you were having a great time. I know we all did.

The Cafeteria program provided some wonderful samples of the food coming out of our kitchens. (I might have made a couple of passes 🙂 )

Thanks to MOT for arriving early and staying late, making sure we had everything we needed and solving every issue that came up.

Again special thanks again to my Carnival Crew that helped with the event it is only so successful because of you.

As we bid farewell to the 2023-24 school year, we're taking a moment to celebrate the remarkable contributions of some beloved members of our Beardsley School District family who are embarking on a new journey: retirement.

Together, Tammy Barrera, Judy Bethell, Terri Jackson, and Carleen Orr have poured their hearts and souls into our school community, collectively dedicating an astounding 95 years of service. Their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment have left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.

As they venture into this next chapter of their lives, we extend our warmest wishes for success, joy, and fulfillment. Though they may be retiring from their roles within the Beardsley School District, they will forever remain cherished members of our family.

Tammy, Judy, Terri, and Carleen, your legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Thank you for your tireless dedication, your infectious enthusiasm, and the countless lives you've touched along the way.

We are having a Basic Needs Drive for our schools Comfort Closet. It was started in 2019 and has served our students and families with clothing, shoes, backpacks, and essential needs. It is time to restock!

Ok friends, this is an amazing story about one of our Beardsley students. We have permission from his mother to share his story and fund this need. Joshua is the first student to qualify for the state Junior Olympics in 20 years here at Beardsley School District. The family has expressed a need for help traveling for the event.
