We understand the heaviness that came with the news of what happened at Club Q in Colorado and how it can be felt not just locally, but nationally. Therefore, we wanted to highlight resources we have in our center.
This space is for YOU! ππ

Jai's Library is also located in the 2SLGBTQIA+ Lounge, a library to honor the late Jai Bornstein, a transgender woman who was part of our campus
community and Club G.E.N. The Library has a variety of Gender or Sexuality affirming books, Q***r History, Abolition, & more that is open to everyone.
-
This space would not be here if not for past student leaders in Club G.E.N. (Gender Equality Now!) who worked hard & demanded for this space to ensure future CSUB students have a safe space
on campus to authentically be themselves.

Although the Final Rule will become law on October 31st but the injunction will remain even after it comes law.
Immigrant Legal Defense will be hosting virtual sessions via Zoom on October 25th and November 1st at 12 pm in light of the decision.

On October 5th, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a decision in Texas v. United States.
Under this decision, individuals with DACA can still apply to renew their DACA status, and individuals who want to apply for DACA for the first time may do so but USCIS will not process those applications unless there is some change in law.
If you are a CSUB student, visit our website to schedule an appointment with an immigration attorney. Learn about what options you or your immediate family members may have.
