Busy days at CAAT—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mid-week. Mid-September. Classrooms moving, hallways buzzing, ideas flowing, students connecting, creating and finding their rhythm.

We’re busy building more than a school. We’re building a space designed to engage our students—a place they feel excited to walk into, inspired to learn in and proud to be part of.

Is it perfect? Never. But we’re always paying attention, always learning and always asking: How can we make it better?

Because creating a school students love coming to doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in the everyday moments, the constant refining and a community that keeps showing up.

Here’s to all the good energy carrying us through the rest of September.

At CAAT, we’re thinking beyond the high school diploma.

Our scholars have the opportunity to take real college courses while they’re still in high school—earning high school and college credit at the same time. Depending on their pathway, students can graduate with 18–34 college units already earned.

And those college courses? They’re offered at no cost to families.

For many families, completing college coursework during high school can represent $25,000–$70,000 in potential savings on tuition, housing and other college costs.

But this isn’t only about saving money.

It’s about giving students a head start.
It’s about experiencing college-level learning before leaving high school.
It’s about building confidence in what comes next.
It’s about graduating with more than a diploma.

So, as you consider high school options for your child, don’t only ask:

“What will they need to graduate?”

Ask:

“What could they graduate with?”

At CAAT, we’re helping scholars build toward what’s next—before graduation day ever arrives.

College planning at CAAT starts long before senior year.

Last year, our scholars had several opportunities to step outside the classroom and onto college campuses—including visits to Caltech and CalArts, where they explored possibilities across both STEM and the arts.

But these aren’t just field trips.

Our College Planning Department helps scholars learn how to evaluate a school, explore career paths, understand what they’re looking for in a college experience, and begin making informed decisions about their future.

And there’s more to come this year!

CAAT families, take advantage of these opportunities. Encourage your scholar to explore, ask questions, visit campuses, and use the college planning resources available right here at CAAT.

We’re not waiting until senior year to ask, “What’s next?”

We’re preparing our High School Scholars for what’s next all along the way.
