Edison Expanded Learning

The 8th grade students had their goodbye assembly on Thursday. We celebrated them on their last day of the Expanded Learning program.Goodbye and good luck class of 2026! 🎉 We will cherish our time together.

Tonight was our Annual
Excellence Banquet in the Edison gym. Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade students that received an award!
The 7th & 8th grade banquet will be held on May 21st. We hope to see you there!

Edison Middle School Agriculture Program was featured on 23ABC News this school year as being the only middle school to show in the Kern County Fair. Great job to all the students for their hard work and dedication!

Edison Middle School represents as lone FFA middle school at Kern County Fair The fair is an escape and an opportunity to enjoy good food for most visitors, but for Edison Middle School students, it's a business trip.

The 4th grade students went to Universal Studios this weekend. We wish them luck as they transition over to Edison Middle school. Good luck and we will miss you!☀️

The students at Orangewood celebrated neurodiversity by participating in the Autism Awareness spirit week!

Orangewood will be having an open house next Thursday on May 7th. If you have not signed your student up for the Expanded Learning program for 2026-2027 school year please stop by our office and fill out an application.
