🏴‍☠️What a fun week at the Zoo🏴‍☠️

We had a great time doing all things PIRATES!! Our campers created treasure maps, catapults, boats, and treasure boxes. New friendships were formed and memories were made 🥰

Some skills that we worked on this week include:
📚 phonemic awareness
📚 sight words
📚 reading comprehension
🔢 place value
🔢 addition/subtraction
🔢 time and money
⭐️ fine and gross motor movements
⭐️ social skills
⭐️ critical thinking

Our campers had a pretty great first day!

We started off the day painting our treasure boxes 💰 then listened to our story about Noah obeying God 🌈, followed by math and reading, freeze dance 🕺, map making 🗺 and SWIMMING 🐠

We’re looking forward to DAY 2!!

Less than 24 hours until the Zoo opens!! Who’s ready to walk the plank this week 🏴‍☠️

Hello Zoo families,

Our first official session this summer is just around the corner! I wanted to share some information that will help the week run smoother and hopefully answer any questions you may have.

😎The Zoo opens at 8am. You can send your kids in through the front door or walk them up, whichever you are most comfortable with.
😎Please be sure to have fed your child breakfast. We will have snack at 9:30 (goldfish, pretzels, popcorn, fresh fruit, juice, etc.).
😎Campers should wear their bathing suit under their clothes, with sunscreen already on, so they can quickly get in the pool at the end of our day.
😎Kids will need a towel and water bottle every day. At 11:30 parents are welcome to come watch their child swim. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas for you! Feel free to come through the front door.
😎If you choose to pick up at 12:00 please come through the front door to the patio. I will have them ready for you!
