❓Where has this been all my teaching life?
✅ Answer: We are happy you look forward to enjoying a light board with your students!

❓How large is the board?
✅ Answer: The 2.0 model is approximately 2' tall and 3' wide, so it fits easily on a basic folding table. We are building the 3.0 now, and anticipate it to be about the same size, but with a lighter aluminum alloy frame.

❓How much is the LightUp Light Board?
✅ Answer: We have no interest in profiting off of these, we just want to get them in the hands of teachers asap so we can finish this pandemic year STRONG and have a functional tool for future use during hybrid instruction and for virtual tutoring. In consideration of the cost of the materials and the (somewhat minimal) time it takes my husband to acquire the materials and assemble the boards, we anticipate the 3.0 to start at $199.

❓System compatibility: my district does not use google products.....
✅ Answer: No problem! The light board functions via any computer (as long as it's a COMPUTER, Chromebooks are not actually computers, they are just internet delivery devices) and any we**am that has the "flip image" feature. I use my school provided hovercam, open it up in a separate window then share my screen in zoom/google meets. Many of the more powerful external we**ams also have this "flip image" feature.

❓I am a teacher at Tamara's site, therefore am I eligible for one of the grant funded light boards?
✅ Answer: YES! It is up to administration to decide how the 12 light boards we plan to build with the $2500 funding from State Farm will be distributed. Stay tuned!

❓What sort of markers do you use....
✅ Answer: I get the Expo Neon "window" 5 pack priced at $8.86

❓Are there any other things (other than the board, a computer & a we**am capable of "flipping the image") that are needed or suggested for the use of the LightUp?
✅ Answer: I like to put a black backdrop behind me or sit at a dark wall when I use the light board.... but it's not by any means required.
