On this September 11, my heart remembers with deep respect the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others. As a wife, mother, grandmother, educator, and woman of faith, I hold especially close the families whose lives were changed in a single moment. May we never forget their sacrifice, may we continue to pray for our nation, and may we always cherish the precious gift of life, family, faith, and freedom. 🇺🇸

16 Years Ago, the Vision Was Already Alive — NBHE Conference 2010

What a beautiful moment in the history of the National Black Home Educators.

Our 2010 NBHE Conference brought together outstanding national speakers, homeschooling families, parents, children, educators and friends from near and far. The rooms were filled with learning, fellowship, encouragement and a shared belief in the power of families to educate their children well.

Looking back reminds us that NBHE didn’t just arrive—we have been building, serving, equipping and encouraging families for more than 25 years.

Enjoy this look back at NBHE 2010—a beautiful chapter in a legacy that continues today.

The faces may change. The times may change. But the mission continues.
