GFTHOI is a program for students in 4th-8th grades that is co-sponsored by Baker School District and Quail Ridge Golf Course. There is a morning cohort and an afternoon cohort that each meet on Fridays beginning in May through the end of school, and then on Mondays and Tuesdays in June once school is out. The program ends on Monday, July 6th.

Younger or new golfers are encouraged to attend the 9:00 am to 12:00 pm session, while advanced golfers are recommended for the 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm session. However, we welcome participants to join whichever session best fits their schedule.

Online Registration closes Monday, April 13th.

Eagle Cap was able to travel to the John Day Fossil Beds and the Painted Hills on October 2!

We took 19 students and 6 staff, and we discussed the ecological history and development of the region.

A good time was had by all. We recommend anyone traveling out that way to stop and immerse themselves in the beauty and wonder showcasing eras gone by!
