2026 Miner's Jubilee recap:

US Rep. Cliff Bentz campaigned with the BCRCC in the Mine's Jubilee parade July 18th. Our distribution of water and goodies were a hit with the crowds on such a warm day.

Rep. Bentz also visited our booths in Geiser-Pollman park.
The information booth provided handouts from the Drazan, Bentz, and Cody Justus campaigns. Specific focus was on electing conservative candidates on State and county levels who have the experience and ideas to reduce the negative impacts of imposed government rules, regulations, and taxes/fees on the general public.

At the Miners’ Row booth, Beef Raffle and America 250 commemorative t-shirts sales were featured. In-depth discussions in support of mining county minerals and support for other natural resources also took place inclusive of water rights, the potential for local cattle producers, and the continued importance of open forest access.

Rep. Bentz and BCRCC member Dan Johnson conversed on the importance of reducing government bureaucracy delays of mining projects on federal managed lands. The Bonnanza Mine abilities to successfully reclaim lands negatively impacted near Halfway, Oregon was shown by before and after extraction pictures exhibiting modern techniques that improve surface conditions for re-vegetation.

We are having a beef raffle!

We are taking an entire beef, grinding into hamburger and offering FOUR winners; 1/4 of a beef each, ground and wrapped! Each 1/4 should give around 150 lbs each.

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

Tuesday, April 28th, is the last day to register for the Primary Elections in Oregon, and the last day to SWITCH to a major party in order to vote in the Primary Elections. One can easily switch back to a preferred party after the election yet have their vote counted in the Primary

The Oregon Secretary of State works to maximize voter participation, is a watchdog for public spending, makes it easier to do business in Oregon, and preserves and promotes Oregon history.
