We are proud to recognize Dr. Mark Dennis as a recipient of the 2026 Deans’ Award for Teaching.

A professor in TCU’s Department of Religion, Dr. Dennis has played a key role in developing CALM Studies, a signature initiative centered on contemplative practice, ethical reflection, and human flourishing. Students consistently describe his courses as transformative, highlighting his ability to foster an environment of curiosity, openness, and meaningful dialogue.

Congratulations to Dr. Dennis on this well-deserved honor and for his continued impact on the TCU community.

Lara Hahne, Devereaux Knight, and Shelby Ackermann have been selected to join the Oxford Consortium Human Rights’ summer workshop. This is an intensive eight-day residential program led by distinguished Oxford scholars.

“TCU Religion made my world so much bigger and I’m forever grateful.” - Kennedy Bosman.

Kennedy is a TCU alumni traveling the world as an International Admission Counselor. This past fall she traveled to Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman. Kennedy says that the her religious studies at TCU strengthened her confidence, what she believes, and what she feels called to do. TCU religion is the exploration of a lifetime!
