Decatur County Schools would like to inform everyone that we are continuously monitoring Tropical Storm Isaias, that is moving in the Gulf of Mexico.

At this time, there are NO changes to our school day schedules. We will continue to determine if strengthening or an adjustment of the track of the storm will impact Decatur County.

As always, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff remain our top priority.

Nothing brings people together quite like telling jokes and listening to Dolly Parton! 🎶💜💛
New Teacher Induction with Dr. Gardner went extremely well! Our newest educators spent time connecting, laughing, learning, and building a strong foundation for the year ahead.
We’re committed to making sure our new Bearcats feel welcomed, encouraged, and supported throughout their first year in education.
Because when you’re a Bearcat, you’re never in it alone. That’s the Bearcat Way! 💜💛🐾
