Friday was a great day for The Castle!! We kicked off the Young Author Project, an initiative that's part of a larger grant supporting authentic learning at North Putnam School Corporation. Shannon Anderson Train, a Scholastic author with over 20 children's books, led a full school convocation at Bainbridge. Over the course of the semester, all second graders will create their own characters and write their own books, which they will reveal to family and community members at a literacy night event.
