Today, students in Mr. Floyd's Financial Literacy and Investment, Banking, and Insurance classes had the unique opportunity to engage with two experienced professionals from Ozark Bank, serving the Bainbridge and Cairo communities. Representatives from the bank, Ms. Moye and Ms. Sharpe, delivered an informative and engaging presentation on a wide range of financial topics that are essential for lifelong success.
Their visit provided valuable insight into the world of personal banking, credit management, saving, investing, and overall financial wellness. Students were able to connect their classroom knowledge with practical applications—learning real-world skills that will empower them to make responsible financial decisions, build and manage credit, understand investment options, and plan for their long-term financial futures.
This experience emphasized the importance of financial literacy and how early financial education lays the foundation for empowered, informed decision-making. Through this partnership, students gained a deeper understanding of how to navigate the financial responsibilities of adulthood with confidence.
