The 2025-26 school year has come to a close! We’ll always have the memories. Thank you teachers and staff for another amazing year. Thank you students for working hard and being kind. And thank you families and volunteers for supporting this community with your time, effort, and dollars. x̌alilc (Halilts) is such a special place to be. Congrats and onward to our 4th graders! Summer Pantry Bags Available Through Helpline House

As we near Summer Break, we want to ensure every student in our community stays fueled and ready for fun! Helpline House , in partnership with Bainbridge Island Rotary, is proud to offer the Kids’ Pantry program to provide supplemental groceries for local families. These bags are for any youth (ages infancy-18) in need of additional food during the summer break. Bags contain enough food for 1 youth for a week.

Pick-Up Information
If your family could benefit from extra groceries over the summer, you can stop by for a pick-up:
Location: Helpline House | 282 Knechtel Way NE
Dates: Monday – Friday
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Delivery Options:
We know that work schedules and transportation can sometimes make it difficult to get to Helpline House. If you are unable to make it during pick-up hours, Rotary volunteers are available to deliver groceries directly to your home.

Shop for a Good Cause at wavekelly!

Join us Thursday, June 11th from 5:30–7:30pm for a private shopping evening at Wavekelly! Shop owner, designer, and x̌alilc parent Megan Sanchez and her team will be there to help you find perfect pieces and create custom curated looks, all while you enjoy refreshments and great company with fellow Island families.

With Father's Day just around the corner, a limited selection of men's pieces will also be available. Just perfect for picking up something special for the dads in your life!

Wavekelly will graciously donate 15% of sales to the x̌alilc, Ordway, and Blakely elementary school PTOs, so every purchase does double duty!

Can't make it that evening? No problem! Shop in person anytime on June 11th, or order online and pick up in store at your convenience. All sales that day count!

We can’t say thank you enough to our incredible teachers & staff! 🌾🍎 Our Farmers Market themed Staff Appreciation Week was just a small way to celebrate all the care, dedication, and heart you pour into our students every single day. We are so grateful for all you do! ❤️

Bike to School Day is Friday, May 15th! Everyone is encouraged to bike to Halilts, and to make it easier and safer, we’ve got groups gathering to travel together if you’re not coming from the Madison/Day area. We still need some volunteers to help manage that process. We’re seeking two volunteers to meet at each of two meeting locations: the Ted Olson parking lot, and the Port Madison Lutheran Church parking lot. We’d like volunteers to arrive at the meeting spots at 7:10, and get the groups on the road at 7:20 so no one feels rushed. Sign-up Genius is linked in our profile for volunteer roles, and everyone else can just show up!
