Today was a truly special day for our school and community as we celebrated the dedication and ribbon cutting of our new Outdoor Learning Lab in honor of Margaret Jean Jones.

Despite living with a disability that limited her movement to just one finger, Margaret Jean Jones lived a life defined by perseverance, determination, and strength. She graduated from high school, maintained employment, and inspired everyone around her through her resilience and positive spirit.

Her story is a powerful reminder that obstacles do not define a person’s potential. We are proud that our Outdoor Learning Lab will serve as a lasting tribute to her legacy and as a place where students can learn, grow, and be inspired for years to come.

In recognition of her impact on our community, the town officially declared May 12 as *Margaret Jean Jones Day*.

We are honored to celebrate a woman whose life continues to teach us the importance of courage, perseverance, and hope.

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this truly special.
