Another successful Agriculture Appreciation Night at Southern Nash! 🚜🌽🏈

We had an amazing turn out last night with some beautiful weather! ☀️

Throughout our Ag night, numerous informative agriculture booths were set up and visited, t-shirts were launched, 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ ears of corn were sold, and 2️⃣ farm families from Nash County were recognized for their positive impact in our community. 👏🏻👏🏻

To this Mills' and Rich's:
Thank you for allowing us to recognize your families. Your impact in our community has not gone unnoticed, and is appreciated by many.

Last night was not only special because of Ag night, but also because it was Pink Out. The stands were decked out in their pink showing their awareness and support to those currently battling and those who have battled breast cancer. As an FFA chapter, we are honored that all proceeds we made from selling corn and merch are being donated straight to trusted breast cancer programs. 🩷

To Southern Nash admin, coaches, and athletes:
Thank you for once again allowing us to put on our Agriculture Appreciation Night. Your support to our chapter and agriculture is seen and appreciated!

Do you want to see an Ag teacher get PIED in the face? Do YOU want to pie an Ag teacher in the face? 🥧

DONATE candy for Southern Nash's Haunt the Halls on October 29, from 6-7 pm. 👻🎃

Each Ag teacher will have a BOX in their room for you to drop INDIVIDUALLY wrapped candy into. 🍬📦

‼️ Donations are accepted through 3rd period on OCTOBER 28 ‼️

During 4th period on October 28, candy donations for each teacher will be weighed. The teacher whose candy weight is the MOST gets PIED at our October meeting on the 30th. 👏🏻🎉

At our meeting, the lucky teacher will be announced and ONE of you will be SELECTED to pie the Ag teacher, so make sure to come! 🥳🥳🥳

And don't forget, each bag you donate counts as ONE leadership point unless stated as MORE by your teacher 👏🏻

Can you believe Christmas is LESS than 85 days away? We certainly can't!

With Christmas being SO close, it's time for our Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale 🥳🥳

🌲These wreaths & trees are LIVE from Western NC!

Prices are as follows:
🎅🏼 6-7 foot $75
🎅🏼 7-8 foot $90
🎅🏼 plain wreath $30

‼️DEADLINE to order and PAY is OCTOBER 15‼️

🛻PICKUP is at our annual Grinch in the Greenhouse which will be hosted at Southern Nash High School on November 22nd from 5:00-7:00pm. (keep a look out for that announcement!!)

Southern Nash FFA's annual Agriculture Appreciation night is BACK! 🚨🎉

Ag appreciation night is one of our FAVORITE nights of the year, and we want to share it with YOU! 🫵🏻

Come out at 6:00 and enjoy local agriculture business booth set-ups, and our WORLD FAMOUS CORN! 🌽

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Agriculture and then IMPACT is has on your every day life and in our community. Agriculture is SO important, and we want to recognize and celebrate that! 👏🏻🥳

Ag appreciation night this year is PACKED with SO many good things, SO much to recognize and celebrate, and SO many people to support. We hope to see you there, WE CAN'T WAIT! 🎉🎉

RLC IS COMPLETE ✅

Today we took 27 FFA members from SNHS and 6 FFA members from SNMS to the East Central Region Leadership Conference! Our members sat through a series of workshops learning skills and further knowledge of FFA and agriculture. In addition to this they were able to meet many FFA members from across our region. This year, we were also proud to have two of our own SNHS officers serving as regional officers at RLC. Liana and Riley, we are very proud of you!! We had a great time at RLC and cannot wait for next year! 🥳📆

👏🏻WHAT A MONTH!👏🏻

In September, the Southern Nash FFA chapter has spent 250 hours volunteering in our community! That is OVER 10 days worth of volunteering! We are so proud of our students for dedicating their time to pour back into our community! 🎉👏🏻
