Step right up for a week of fun in our cafeterias! National School Lunch Week is coming October 12–16, and this year’s theme is “Cafeteria Circus: Where Nutrition Takes Center Stage!”

Did you know? School lunches are carefully planned to meet nutrition standards and keep students energized throughout the day — and they often introduce kids to new foods and flavors!

To our amazing School Nutrition staff across the state: THANK YOU for nourishing our students with care and dedication every day.

Important Report Card Update for K-2 and Extended Content Standards Students

Please see an important update regarding report cards for students in Kindergarten through Second Grade and students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade who participate in the Extended Content Standards classes (Exceptional Children Self-Contained).

Beginning with this reporting period, these students will receive a printed report card. Report Cards for these students will not be available in the Campus Parent Portal app. Attendance and behavior will still be available in that application.
Report cards will be sent home on October 16, 2026. Families do not need to sign and return the report card. Instead, please acknowledge that you received your child's report card by sending a message to your child's teacher through ClassDojo.

Please note that this update applies only to:
Students in Kindergarten through Second Grade
Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students participating in the Extended Content Standards classes (Exceptional Children Self-Contained)

Thank you for your attention to this update and for your continued support.

More 4th graders hard at work learning about the heart!

10/08/2026

🫀 Today was a heart-stopping day in 4th grade for some of our classes! 🫶🏻

Our students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a sheep heart dissection! This hands-on experience connected directly to our learning about the literal vs. figurative meaning of “heart” and reinforced what we’ve been learning about the circulatory system through The Circulatory Story.

There is nothing quite like taking what we read about in a book and bringing it to life—or, in this case, taking a closer look at the heart itself! 🫀📚🔬

We are so grateful to Mr. Cobb for giving our students this amazing opportunity to explore, ask questions, and learn through hands-on science! What a memorable day!
